Over the years, California Raisin growers have invested in nutrition research to evaluate raisins' influence on important topics such as diabetes. Research* suggests that raisins may improve glucose levels and systolic blood pressure among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)². A 12-week study among 51 individuals with T2DM found that regular consumption of raisins-as compared with a variety of other snacks—positively impacted both glucose levels and systolic blood pressure.
