CoreLite™ Specimen Radiography System
INTENDED USE: The CoreLite™ product is intended for use by medical professionals to provide rapid verification, through x-ray examination in or near the biopsy procedure room, that the correct tissue has been excised during percutaneous biopsy. SAFETY: 1. Facility Manual Handling protocols should be observed. 2. Due to the presence of High Voltage components the rear panel should not be removed at any time. 3. Due to the presence of Mains Voltage, the rear panel should not be removed at any time. 4. Local radiation protocols and monitoring should be observed at all times. 5. No additional radiation protocols are required. 6. Facility protocols and monitoring should be observed. 7. No additional cleaning agents are provided with this product. WARNINGS: 1. The product is designed to be used while stationary. DO NOT operate when in motion. 2. Protective earthing is provided via the mains cord. The CoreLite™ System must be connected to an earthed mains outlet. 3. The x-ray source window should not be touched under any circumstances. 4. If the beryllium window is damaged please follow local rules and regulations regarding contamination control. Follow instructions in Section 14 of the Operator Manual. REGULATORY: It is the responsibility of the facility or institution operating this system to ensure that all local, regional, and federal regulations affecting the use of the CoreLite™ System are followed.
